The Lighthouse Network is a founder-first organization that exists to invest in the lives of entrepreneurs—not just their companies. What began as Virginia’s startup accelerator has evolved into a broader support system for early-stage founders navigating the messy middle of building something new. We provide mentorship, capital access, and community to help visionary builders grow enduring companies—and to do it without burning out or going it alone. Our belief is simple: when founders thrive, so do their businesses, and when ecosystems prioritize the human behind the venture, real innovation takes root.
We’ve spent the last decade walking alongside hundreds of founders—learning what they need most at each stage, where traditional support systems fall short, and how trust and social capital often matter more than pitch decks or accolades. That experience shaped the evolution from Lighthouse Labs to Lighthouse Network: a shift from time-bound programs to an ongoing commitment. Today, we run founder-centered programming, cultivate strategic investor and mentor relationships, and convene a national network rooted in Richmond, VA.
